So what is The Edge Fitness Clubs? While it’s huge in Connecticut, it’s only recently started branching outside of the state. And on Saturday, they’re celebrating the grand opening of their third area club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. They’re planning on opening a Delran, New Jersey location in late February, with a Somerton, Pennsylvania club on the docket for around June.
So far, The Edge has opened clubs in Washington Township, New Jersey and Deptford, New Jersey.
Meanwhile, a Connecticut-based gym chain, The Edge Fitness Clubs, has been quietly opening new locations in the greater Philadelphia area. Equinox’s (much cheaper) sister gym Blink Fitness just opened a third gym in Philly, and a huge new Life Time Fitness is coming to Ardmore soon.
